- Dollar Pizza and Halal Guys
Enjoy an iconic slice of Pizza at any time of the day! We had personally stopped by 99 Cent Best & Fresh Pizza, and enjoyed every bite of the slice! They are located at 166 W 27th St, New York, and worth the commute wherever you are!
Also if you enjoy Mediterranean food, stopping by the Halal Guys for a hot plate of Chicken/Gyro over rice with their magical white sauce is a must do!
- Roosevelt Island Tram Ride
If you’ve got a Metro Card, the same card can take you to Roosevelt Island for no extra cost than a regular swipe! The ride gives you beautiful view of Manhattan and the Hudson River.
Once at RI, there is a free bus that takes you around the entire island and drops you back at the Tram Station. Although the tram ride is short – it is a must do for iconic views of the city!
- Brooklyn Bridge
Walking down Brooklyn Bridge is a must to check off your bucket list. Walking at your pace above the fast and furious NYC traffic, a sea of yellow cabs and whizzing-by cyclists makes for an ideal evening. Make sure to keep yourself within the pedestrian lane or risk being yelled at by the speeding cyclists!
- Times Square
Although a bit hyped, it is a must see destination if you are visiting New York City.
Watching your favorite show on Broadway or Window Shopping your favorite brands are things you can’t go wrong with.
- Charging Bull – Wall Street
If you want to gain some inspiration, walking down Wall Street and increasing your chances at the stock market – it might be worth stopping by the charging bull! Everyone else seems to think so – so line up!
- Rockefeller Center
If you want to be lost in the crowd and enjoying the day by sitting on a bench near the fountains, or grab a coffee at from the nearby cafes. This is an amazing place to visit.
Also make sure to enjoy skating in NYC at the the public Ice Rink right by Rockefeller Center
- Central Park
If you want to enjoy the city life but have a taste of some nature too, then Central Park is the place for you. There are many spots in the park to choose from. Go for a run, take a leisurely walk or go for a picnic – so many options to choose from. Also if you were a F.R.I.E.N.D.S fan then this has to be checked off.
- China Town
Xi’an Famous Foods in China Town is worth a visit if you are in the area. Their Spicy Cumin Lamb Burger with their hand ripped noodles are epic! Make sure to grab a cooling ice tea to help with all the spices!
- Oculus and 9/11 Memorial
The Oculus station is a transit station in lower Manhattan. The PATH train also stops here, if you’d fancy going over to New Jersey for views of the NYC Skyline from the other side of the Hudson. Hoboken station is iconic for the views of NYC from the New Jersey side.
Also stop by the 9/11 Memorial to pay your respects to the victims of the attacks that are inscribed in bronze around the twin memorial pools.
- NYC Subway
Ride the NYC Subway! It is one of the only subway systems that runs 24/7 and has a ridership of over 5 million on a given weekday! The connectivity of it is amazing, and can turn out to be far more optimal than trying to drive in Manhattan – not even considering the expensive Manhattan parking prices!
